The majority of ARC went down to IMM for the Singapore Robomasters Competition on the 19th and 20th of June. There were 3 different sections: the Soccer Masters, the Navigation Masters aaaaaand some other section which we did not take part in. Not much details are on the Internet about this competition, and if you Googled 'Singapore Robomasters Competition' or something like that, this page will appear. Cool right!

Soccer - Each team sends out 3 members for each of their 3 robots. Please don't tell me you have no idea of the basics of what happens in soccer.
Navigation - The robot goes through an obstacle course, and is to avoid crashing as much as possible[Duh], because each obstacle you crash into adds 30 seconds to your ovarall time. No wheels, the robot has to be legged.
Techno - ERM, we only know that the groups have to invent a robot of some kind and present it in front of everyone.
EVEN THOUGH it was our first year taking part in this competition, we walked away with 3rd place for the navigation robots thanks to Shujun's group, and Best Supporters. So now we have two more shiny trophies in our trophy cabinet, YAY! Good job everyone, and let's aim higherand take home ALL THE TROPHIES, MWAHAHAH next year. :) Now, presenting some color to the blog:

We had our very first Robomasters competition today. As much as we would like to tell you the results of the Soccer Robos, we can't, seeing that we have a half more of the competition to go. Because they dumped too many things into one day. More tommorow. :)
